27 Weeks, 1 Day

Hey there!  Hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July!  We had random down-pours all day long, so we didn't really get the opportunity to blow anything up.  We made up for it by eating twice as much, I think.  My crazy, pregnant self decided we needed pumpkin pie to celebrate America's birthday.  Shh, it was delicious!  We were bad parents and didn't take any pictures of our little one decked out in her red, white, & blue outfit.  We were kind of busy half napping on the couch.  Ooops...  So instead, we'll just throw it back and enjoy a picture of Zooey from Freedom Day 2012.
Look at all that precious fat!  I miss those big, hammy legs!

How far along?
27 weeks, 1 day
Maternity clothes?
I haven't had to worry too much about staying pretty.  Its been raining too much lately to really care.  I've been bumming around in my old running shorts and Daniel's tee shirts.
Stretch marks?
Still keeping my fingers crossed that I will make it out of this unscathed.
Sleep?
Started having bad dreams that interrupt my sleep.  Don't know what's going on.  I guess being pregnant has made me paranoid and claustrophobic because in almost every dream I can't breathe for one reason or another and I wake up in a total panic.
Best moment this week?
We've narrowed the names down to two.  Daniel's pick is Connor.  It's an Irish name that means "wolf-lover" (he's trying to make our child a Stark).  Mine is Lucas, a Latin name meaning "bringer of light".  And I mean...come on...seriously.  Lucas Lee.

Food cravings:
Chocolate milk
Belly button in or out?
Still nice and flat.
Movement?
He's not been very gentle this past week.  Think he's upset that his living area is getting so cramped.
What I miss?
Getting into bed and rolling over without being in tears over this back pain.  I had Daniel rub my back for a bit last night which helped for a few minutes.  Before I knew it I was right back to being curled up in a little ball of pain.
What I’m looking forward to:
In the coming week I don't really have a lot to look forward to.  We'll have a good weekend together then Daniel will go to work until he leaves for drill early Friday morning.  Drill weeks are literally the worst.  (Can you tell I've been super grumpy lately?)
Milestones:
"Baby's done a lot of growing over the past few months. His length has more than doubled in the past 15 weeks! And that's not the only thing growing—baby's brain tissue and neurons are all developing at a rapid pace. His brain waves are now firing away just like those of a newborn baby. If baby is a he, his testes will have completely descended at this point."
